I'm a photojournalist and writer based in New York City.

I was born in Tampa and raised in a Cuban household where Spanish shaped my earliest sense of language and culture.

In late 2025, I graduated from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY with a master’s in journalism, concentrating in international reporting.

During the summer of 2025, I was a reporting fellow at the Tucson Sentinel, photographing and covering stories across Southern Arizona on a wide range of topics, from congressional elections, to border policy, and the local space industry.

Before my journalism career, I was a commercial photographer and cinematographer. I ran a freelance business for eight years, learning firsthand how to craft compelling visuals and manage complex shoots.

When I'm not on the field reporting, you can most likely find me baking sourdough bread or playing guitar.
